Which browsers, and when
Every row says which build was looked at and how long ago, because a bare “tested” stays true-looking forever and that is how a claim like this becomes a lie by sitting still.
Tested in Blink, WebKit and Gecko.
- Blinktested by handChrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Android · Chrome 151 · 6 weeks agoEvery page, every theme, keyboard-only, print, and the backdrop.
- WebKittested by handSafari on macOS and every browser on iOS · Safari 18.6 · 6 weeks agoDriven by hand on macOS: sign-in, links, groups, passkeys.
- Geckotested by handFirefox, Tor Browser, LibreWolf · Firefox 154 · 6 weeks agoNext on the list.
- Goannanot tested yetPale Moon, BasiliskA Gecko fork that has diverged; no CSS nesting, and its own view of newer selectors.
- Servonot tested yetServo's own shellIndependent, and the one most likely to find something genuinely wrong in the stylesheet.
- LibWebnot tested yetLadybirdWritten from the specifications rather than from the other engines, which makes it a good check on whether this page is standard or merely popular.
- Flownot tested yetEkioh FlowIndependent, and used on set-top boxes.
- NetSurfnot tested yetNetSurfNo JavaScript worth relying on, so this is really a test of whether the pages work as plain documents. They are built to.
- Text-modenot tested yetLynx, w3m, LinksNo CSS and no script at all. A dead-link notice should still say what happened, which is the only thing that has to survive here.
Not tested means nobody has looked.
What the words mean
- drivenSomebody here drove this engine through the product and wrote down the build.
- checkedLooked at in this engine, less exhaustively than driven.
- tested by userSomebody said it worked. Nobody here saw it, which is why it is not green.
- not testedNobody has looked. It is not a claim that anything is broken.
Past a year a claim stops being presented as current. The words do not change; their weight does.
These pages are plain documents: server-rendered HTML, one stylesheet, no fetches and no framework. Where an engine is untested the honest expectation is that it works, because there is very little here for it to get wrong.
